Mitomycin C is extracted from Streptomyces bacteria (bacteria) out of a broad-spectrum antitumor antibiotics, genetic toxicity and tumor resistance, is widely recognized inhibitors of DNA damage, have anti-cancer effect to many kinds of cancer, after activation, can play a role of DNA alkylating agent, action principle is to make the cell's DNA depolymerization, selective inhibit DNA, RNA and protein synthesis, cell and inhibiting tumor cell division.
This product is a non-specific drug in cell cycle. Its anti-tumor spectrum is wide and its effect is rapid, but the therapeutic index is not high.
