Description:

Albendazole oxide, also named Ricobendazole, the main  metabolites of Albendazole Oxide
in animals and people, is a new anti-vermin us drug of benzimidazol broad-spectrum.

[Properties]

White or white-like crystalline powder, odorless, no smell, slightly dissolved in methanol,
ethanol,dioxane and chloroform ,not dissolved in water, dissolved in glacial acetic acid.

[Mechanism]

1.Albendazole Oxide is high-efficient and low-toxic benzimidazol anti-verminous drug. It is
low toxic but with a limited spectrum insecticide ,so it is not used widely(only high-efficient
on ovine ostertagia).

2. Pharmacokinetics

The absorption of albendazole oxide is very little.   Feed it to the sheep as oral liquid, the
Plasma concentration will be in peak in 6 hours and will lose 34% in 24 hours through excretion,
40% 216 hours later. Feed it to the cattle as oral liquid, the plasma concentration will be in peak
in 12 hours and will lose 32%  through excretion 144 hours later.
