Description:

    Sodium monofluorophosphate, commonly abbreviated MFP, is an inorganic compound
with the chemical formula Na2PO3F. Typical for a salt, MFP is odourless, colourless, and
water-soluble. This salt is an ingredient in some toothpastes.


Application&Function:

(1) SMFP is a white or white crystalline powder, solubles in water and moisture absorption
is strong, at 25 ºC water solubility in the aqueous solution of 42 g / 100 g, no side effects,
no rust, 2% aqueous solution PH value of 6.5-8.0, the compound is stable, good compatibility,
melting point 625 ºC.
(2)It is in place of sodium fluoride and used as anti-caries agent and tooth sensitivity in the
toothpaste formula.
